Several major investors told Reuters last month that concerns about their exposure to the issue could lead them to quit consumer goods makers with "risky" supply chains. Oreo-maker Mondelez told Reuters it is "not clear on how they (EU authorities) will control or implement this" law. "It is entirely possible to trace coffee supply chains, despite their complexity. Italian confectionary group Ferrero wants the EU to provide specific guidance on compliance for each commodity because supply chains vary greatly between them.

MILAN, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Italian coffee maker Lavazza said on Monday it had made a binding offer to acquire French coffee seller MaxiCoffee to strengthen its position in France and in e-commerce. "Our strategy is to support the further development of MaxiCoffee, which will maintain its profile as a multi-brand e-commerce platform and remain independent," Lavazza Chief Executive Antonio Baravalle said in a statement. MaxiCoffee, which is jointly owned by its founder Christophe Brancato, Italian private equity group 21 Invest and other investors, operates through an online platform and some 60 retail outlets. Christophe Brancato will reinvest in the capital of MaxiCoffee with a minority stake, the statement said without providing financial details. Напомним, что после первого из них, на котром было реализовано 11 авторизаций на размещение лёгких торговых конструкций, бюджет столицы пополнился на 20 млн леев. Он прошёл 2 декабря прошлого года и на торги было выставлено 15 лотов: в сквере у Кафедрального собора Рождества Христова, в парке Штефана чел Маре, на улице Иона Крянгэ (парк «Дендрарий»), в лесопарке «Бутояш», в парке «Сармизеджетуза» и на улице Валя Кручий (Зоопарк). В новом киоске Bonjour Cafe продаётся стандартный набор продуктов: кофе, выпечка (круассаны, маффины, сэндвичи) и прохладительные напитки.
